Privacy
InboxQux is made by QuxKit.AI. This is what we keep, why, and how to get rid of it.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, a hash of your password, and the devices you're signed in on.
- What you put in: mail and attachments, contacts, calendars, chat messages, and booking pages.
- In the app, which phone it is (model, system version and language) and the token that lets us send it a notification.
We use this to run InboxQux for you, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, we don't show ads, and there are no trackers on the site or in the app.
Calls
Calls aren't recorded. If the host turns transcription on, each person's own device turns their voice into text, and we keep that text for the people in the call. Sound never reaches us. The host can delete it.
Notifications
The app only sends notifications once you've turned them on. Each one shows who wrote and the subject or first line of the message, or who is calling, and passes through Apple or Google to reach your phone. Turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
Who handles it for us
- DigitalOcean runs the app and its database.
- Cloudflare receives and sends your mail, stores attachments, and carries group calls.
- Stripe takes payments. We never see your card number.
- Apple and Google deliver notifications to the app, if you turn them on.
- GIPHY provides GIFs in chat. Searches go through our server, and the pictures load from GIPHY.
Deleting your account
Go to Your account and choose Close account, on the site or in the app. You're signed out at once, and we email you a link that undoes this for 7 days. Within 30 days we delete your account, your mailboxes, and the mail and attachments in them. Domains, contacts and anything else you added to a workspace belong to that workspace, so they stay with it.
